Jessica currently provides direct psychotherapy, leads international and local mindfulness retreats, implements Mindful Living Programs & Practices in addiction programs, schools, and business, works as a Practicum Instructor for the University of Hawaii Masters of Social Work program, serves on the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) board, and is a former research assistant with Eastern Washington University and professor at Northwest Nazarene University.
Jessica specializes in treating a variety of mental health and psychosomatic symptoms through a variety of treatment models including yoga, meditation, and the following psychotherapy models; Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT), Solution Focused, Emotionally-Focused, and Existentialism. Jessica was trained by the developers of TF-CBT through the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and has given many talks and continuing education trainings for associations, conferences, businesses, and agencies.
